also, I'm curious, is it going to have similar gameplay to Providence (with keyboard movement and minimalistic puzzles)? Or is it a "pure" point and click adventure game? Or something totally different? :grin:

It's a "pure" point and click adventure. Inventory, mouse clicks and some hopefully challenging but fair puzzles! :smiley:

It's edging closer
Hjarta has code,
almost all of it.
Cutscene animations are done,
the music implemented.
Playtesting is just starting up,
a new website (http://hjarta.eightbitskyline.com) is out.
Stay tuned for a trailer,

It is really just a place holder right now. :)
The game is almost finished and ready for release. I'm working hard on the final beta test right now as well as making a release trailer that will come out together with the game. I'm aiming for a release in august, probably near the end of the month!

Thanks guys! Added some new stuff to the game including a new hint system and a lot of bug and animations fixes as a result of beta feedback. Release is still on for late august!
Hjarta is practically done. Added an auto save system and some other touches and final testing is going on. The game will be released on sunday the 13th of september!
I had the privilege of testing this and it is a beauty. It is definitely worth the wait, as a lot of effort has gone into this.
