Trapped in Reality is the working title of my contribution to the Reality-On-the-Norm game series. I started the game some time ago, then abandoned it. I started it back up a while ago and added some more to the story.

I am introducing a new character, Elliot Benson, who finds himself trapped in Reality, unable to leave unless he proves that Davy Jones, who is in the town jail, is innocent of a crime.

The game parodies the Law & Order franchise. Mainly SVU, which is my favorite. (It parodies the intro, names, and sounds)

I've redone all of the original ron backgrounds to suit myself and my new rooms. They are hi res. I pretty much suck at character animation so I used eric's walk cycle template.

Features:

640x480 at 32-bit color

1 new character

New version of ROTN backgrounds.

Several new rooms.

L & O style video intro.

At last a RON game that improves graphic art but keeps the style...
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

I really liked the backgrounds that Krysis did here: ronbkstyle.gif

But unfortunately I was using a lot more rooms than that(including about 5 new rooms to the series), and those backgrounds were 320 by 200, and I knew I wouldn't be able to match his style. So I just took what I loved about his style and the original styles and kind of did my own thing with them.

I've had more time to myself lately so hopefully I will be done with scripting soon.
