I am making a game called Kate Bosworth Saves the Day. As of August 31, 2004 it is now 99% complete.
Basically, here's what happens -- Osama bin Laden has figured out how to put subliminal messages into movies. The United States government has planned a counter-strike -- get a Hollywood celebrity to go to the movie premieres Osama plans to test his hypnotic abilities...and create a counter-hypnotic message...they have called upon Kate Bosworth (you may know her from Blue Crush or Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!) to accomplish this task.
Basically, you start out in Beverly Hills, fly to Washington. From there, they send you to a movie premiere, and I'm not revealing any more spoilers after that...
You will encounter many quirky characters in your adventures as Kate Bosworth in this adventure game...and you may even encounter other celebrities!
I am currently estimating that KATE BOSWORTH SAVES THE DAY will be complete by September 1, 2004, due to the tremendous progress being made so far. Please be patient (it's going to be worth it!) -- this will be a very large game...

You may notice in the screenshots that I am having some fun with the mouse cursor icons. For example -- you may notice the LOOK icon (seen in the outside screen with the phone and the limo) is a blue eye and a brown eye -- just like Kate Bosworth's eyes (she has 1 blue and 1 brown -- I thought it would be a cool effect to make the LOOK icon reflect that...)

Try now...I fixed the problem...
Due to the tremendous progress being made on this game, I now expect the first version (1.0) to be complete and downloadable by September 1, 2004. However, I do plan to make an improved version of the game, with better sprites, speech (instead of dialog boxes), and some other features.
Hm. I took a look at your backgrounds.
Don't take me wrong.They look good. But they are so empty and the character is so small. I never saw a building with a celling so high....

It looks like you just changed him lol...which would explain the size
Actually I would suggest cutting your res down to 320x200.
Then it would make file size smaller, and I could d/l it!
Yes, for now I just altered Roger -- after the game is completed I plan to tweak it a little, among the tweaks being to use a paint program to create better sprites.
