I think I am going to do a VGA remake of King's Quest III, unless someone turns out to be doing it/planning to do it and asks me not to.  I've made one background, just to experiment with the engine, and a Gwydion sprite (which I'll continue to work on/clean up a bit).  And I'll definitely be looking for anyone who wants to help!  Anyway here is my screenshot...

Hey... Good luck. By the way, lucasfan, has made quite a few screens from KQII, maybe you should ask him to use them.

This is a bit different, AGA.  MHawk didn't have anything to show other than screenshots from the original game, which is why he got flamed to a nice golden brown.  Unless you're just saying that someone else was working on it.  I should probably just shut up because I have no real idea what that link means.

I quite like the look of the background, Nemo. I never got very far in KQIII (stupid Manananananan... always with the killing!) but isn't your background a bit dark? It's kind of hard to see.

I know it's dark...I'm working on a flat-panel display and I didn't realize how different things can look on regular monitors!  I wasn't quite sure how to go about fixing it but here is a lighter version...

That one is true size too, not resized.
Does that look light enough?  Does it look weird now?

real nic pic, although something doesn't look quite right about the grass.

I would definately suggest getting in contact with Lucasfan and seeing what graphics he has. It could also be worth checking what Muzlak has as he used to be in team creating a kq3 game that never really got off the ground

I've always thought KQIII was the best out of all of them.  Can't wait to see more screenshots! Question what paint program are you using?
