Laundry Day - first screenshots and video

Story:
You're broke, have no detergent, and are down to your last pair of underwear.
Oh the adventuring that will be had.




Yes, "definitely" is spelled wrong.

This will be the first game my fiance and I have attempted ever.  She will be doing all of the graphics, and I will be doing the music.
So far, we have 2 rooms started, the puzzles conceptualized out, the majority of the character animation done.
It will be a short game, and we should be done with it early next year at the latest.  If anyone's interested, we will post more about it as it progresses.

love the art and the moody atmosphere, it's sad and nostalgic and optimistic at the same time. I kinda have a feeling of it. It remind me La mer? (French name)

EDIT: After watching the video, the mood was somewhat optimistic and funny rather than sad and serious. I wonder what will be the result

Chicky: thank you!  Yeah, that birthday was pretty awesome post some comments on the blog if you ever feel so inclined

The Suitor:  Oh no!!  Haha, That game is almost identical to ours.  Oh well!  I'll have to play it to make sure we won't be completely ripping it off.  A name change will most likely be in order.


We have a much greater appreciation for adventure game making!!
It's like learning to play an instrument and hearing all the different individual instruments, and their application to the whole of a song.
