Hi, there!
My name is Philipp and I had my first contact with AGS on 06/15/09.
I already have experience in modding and C/C++ programing.
I'd like to present the testdemo for my Monkey Island Fan Adventure Project.
The project name is "The Mystery of Loony Island".
Download and check out the testdemo: The Mystery of Loony Island (http://www.affenbauch.de/LoonyIsland.zip)
Progress:
Story: 90%
Puzzles: 30%
Graphics: 10%
Characters: 10%
Coding: 80%*
Sound: 15%
*) Except for some mini-games I have coded almost every function I will need for the game.
For all you real pirates there will be a Liar's Dice mini-game!
I have already completely coded the Liar's Dice mini-game for the player and two AI pirates.
It works pretty good.
Ingame the Liar's Dice game is combined with a puzzle and there are rewards for winning a game session.
What can you expect?
- a lot of funny intertextual references (Monkey Island, Simon the Sorcerer, movies, the modern world, etc...)
- new animations for Guybrush
- an interesting storyline with sub-plots
- challenging puzzles
- over 40 different locations to explore
- mini-games
- Pinchy, the Crab, Guybrush's new pet ;D

So you've only done this in four days? Cool!
Good luck with your project. :)
Sieht gut aus ;), but the background pictures are way too blurry, at least the beach background (especially with all the .jpg-artefacts and such..).
Thank you very much for your comments. ;D
Does anyone know a good method to pixelize/unblur the background images? ::)
I have to say, that reworking the existing backgrounds will be very low on my priority list.
First there have to be more rooms, characters and silly stuff. :D

Actually I did it in three days, because today I didn't touch anything.
But I will start developing right now.
