I've been following this on Facebook and it really looks like a great throwback. I will fully support this game!
Looks awesome homeslice
Looking very good so far! Hopefully I've have time to check out the demo sometime. All the best with development.
Sweet!!
Lovely, lovely artwork!
Awesome, this is looking great!
If you haven't done so already, try to get yourself covered by IndieGames.com, TIGSource, Destructoid, Rock Paper Shotgun and other indie video games news outlets. Bribing Dave Gilbert for his little black book of websites to plug your kickstarter would be a good investment too. Let's overfund this baby.
Enough words, time to play that demo!
Yeah definitely do as Blueskirt suggests.. I think its pretty hard for anyone to resist a QFG style badass antihero game, this could really explode if the word gets out! :)
Wow. The pixelated graphics are stunning!
Hey guys! Thanks for all the compliments. We appreciate it.
We just hope to make a very enjoyable and playable game.
Bt
To be honest I've always been more interested in Quest for Infamy than in whatever remakes of older Sierra games you could write, so I'm happy to hear you've picked this project back up. Best of luck!
Hey! This looks pretty darn good. You guys have such a great track record and it's cool to see you taking the next step. :)
Thanks Radiant and Dave!
We're real excited to be working on our first original game. Watching it come to life has been so much fun - doing the remakes was a lot of fun, and great practice, but it's really rewarding to work on your own ideas.
Bt
Pledged!
Looks very nice, and it's one of those ideas/projects that's been knocking around ever since I got into AGS, it seems, so it feels good to help push it to release.
Who are the models for the character portraits (all of which, except the sorcerer, look to be based on photos)?

I bet Kurdt's appearance is based on Jason Statham.

Ha, I was thinking the same.
None are based on any direct photos - one is actually like likeness of the artist's friend - and he even voices "himself". Oh, Markus's likeness is based on Paw Dugan, who also voices him. Some are influenced by some people, but Jenny Pattison, the artist, did design them all herself.
Bt
played the demo - really cool - well done - (http://www.smileyvault.com/albums/userpics/12962/whoooo_clap.gif)
good luck for this project
Congratulations on having Scott Murphy as a backer! :-D
Quest for Infamy? FUCK YEAH! I remember when you talked to me about doing some work on the sprites for this and I'm still interested.
Good luck with the kickstarter!
Oh, and there has to be at least one scene where you stab some do-gooder in the back just to show you're not to be messed with.
All right! You can be sure I'll be getting in touch with you soon, sir!
Bt
Wow...this game...I am just utterly speechless. The graphics are exactly what I like (I'm strangely particular :D), and--as a person who will play Grand Theft Auto for many hours, just to run people over and steal their stuff--this is so intriguing to me. I've never played a game quite like this, and (even though I'm pretty nice in real life, I swear) I am BEYOND excited to see what trouble I can get this character into. Cannot, cannot wait.
Your demo was so much fun...my favorite part was probably trying (unsuccessfully) to pick on the people in the Tavern, and the narrator responses to me attempting to slash random things/people. And so of course I had to contribute to your Kickstarter fund because I am already such a fan. Congratulations on making your goal! I hope you'll exceed your stretch goal(s) too.
Did I mention I can't wait?? :P
Sarah
Grats on EXCEEDING your kick-starter fund.
I really hope the funding will rais up to at least 35.000.
I'd really like to buy a '90's vintage styled boxed' version of this game....
We're less than $500 away from big boxes, Arjon!
Bt
Woo.
$3,957 to go until the printed game manual and map!

35K "Big Boxes" version of the funding has been reached, awesome!
Gratz!!
How much do you have to pledge to get the 90's vintage styled box of the game?? :-\
Forget it! Noticed it was mentioned in the update :).
This is looking nice! I've been pledging stuff like crazy lately though so I might not be able to pledge towards this one..
Hey, how cool! What a great painting has! I will tell you something...
Now... downloading DEMO!
$1,050 to go until we get the printed map and manual!
We got printed map and manual. Next up is FIGS translations. All the support for everyone has been amazing.
Bt
Wooo. Grats.
Finally, been able to slam in $100 to this one! That's nearly £200 so far this year I've spent on adventures (Gemini Rue, Kinky Island, Quest for Infamy, Resonance and SpaceVenture) so far - I don't regret any of it one bit! So glad to be able to contribute to things I love.

Bt
Are FIGS translations really necessary? I know there's a lot of people coming from the FIGS countries themselves, that would rather have extra content above this feature. Besides, it's a reward tier that's not really motivating to non-FIGS people.
Having said that, this project is looking great and I am happy to see it funded. Now lets hope you guys will reach all these goals.
I only speak English but the idea that someone can enjoy the game the same way I do in there native language seems like a good bonus, also that means more support and a bigger fan base for the game.
We're in our last few days of our Kickstarter - and we're definitely lucky. It's been a great experience, and a ton of fun. We're going to get to make this game, and make it awesome... everyone on the team is stoked.
Thanks for all the support, guys. For some of you, it's been years of support. We're just happy to be able to do this!
Bt
So, just to be sure:
pledging $35 will get me the physical dvd case - regular edition
pledging $60 will get me the physical dvd case - special edition
pledging $120 will get me the big boxed special edition edition?

Wow, your fundraiser has done really well - congrats! :-D
Congrats on the fundraising and I'll be sure to buy this! Also, the demo was very fun!

Delayed
http://www.indieretronews.com/2014/06/quest-for-infamy-infamous-quests.html
Yeah, we delayed two weeks so we didn't launch RIGHT in the middle of the summer sale season on GoG and Steam. Gives us two extra weeks to make sure all the "t's" are crossed and we've dotted the.... lowercase "j's".
Bt
Hey folks! Well, QFI comes out July 10th! 3 days! It's been a hell of an experience making this game, and I'm proud that we did it in AGS.
It'll be on sale at GoG, Humble, Desura and Steam - so ends this road for now!
We also made Time.com's list of 20 Best Games of Summer! (I can't believe it either - we're on a list with like, The Sims, The Last of Us and Madden Football)
http://time.com/2904363/best-video-games-summer-2014/
To everyone who supported and checked in with the project - thank you so very much! So many people here were so helpful to me and some of my team members during production, and we couldn't have done it without their support.
Bt
Woo-hoo!! Holy crap, Bt...that's a HUGE deal to make their list, and I'm so happy for you guys. Congratulations to the whole team.
I did a little of the testing for this game and I gotta say, this game is NOT to be missed. It's incredible.
Gratz Bt! This is really a great accomplishment! Even though I was only with you for a very brief moment I know you have a great team!
It's on steam right now, so just need some freetime, but looking forward to start playing it :)
