Love the graphics. And the story sounds hilarious. ;D
Looking forward to this one. :D
I'm never usually madly interested in funny adventure games but this looks amazing.
Looks very promising!
And I like that there's an extra "screaming" font :)
I am not for "splatter-film-zombies", but this looks very interesting:

Time for an update!
The game is almost ready for release, and should be out by October 2011!
Added a trailer to the original post, along with the website, facebook and twitter.
We'll be showing the game off at Emulator Art in our hometown of Brisbane, Australia, so on the off chance that there's some fellow Brisbanites reading this, come along and say hello!
http://www.emulatorart.com.au/ (http://www.emulatorart.com.au/)
I liked every single part of that trailer - what means - that I will probably like every single part of the game.
but... I won't come on the Emulator Art, because it is two continents away from my continent. xd
EDIT: Hmm... it's actually just one continent away when you go to north of my continent. Hmmm... I won't come sorry! o:
The game looks amazing. :o I especially like all Romero's movies. ;D
I work for indie games and I make french free translation just for fun and for my CV. :)
Are you interested by a french translation for Metal Dead ? It will be great for european countries.
Please enjoy my offer. 8)
I think the game is already in French. Look at this dialog line:

As a fan of heavy metal, I am interested in this game. Although I think zombies are overdone. What do you guys think of Brütal Legend? It is Jack Black's heavy metal game for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Metal is dead!
This is true. A lot of new metal bands are just noise. If you want high quality heavy metal bands, you got to go underground. Iced Earth, Annihilator, Artillery, Toxik, etc. are some good metal bands.
Liam (writer/designer) here.

Once we've released the game, we'll consider translating and we'll keep your offer in mind, thank you!

I agree that zombies have been overdone in the gaming world, but when we started this project, there were no significant point and click adventures that featured them. We put our own twist on zombies though, so they're a little different to their appearances in other media, as you'll find by playing the game. ;)
As for Brutal Legend, I played it, finished it and liked it. A nice mix of comedy/fantasy and heavy metal.
Edit: Both of us posted at the same time. Creepy.
Hey its Robert (design/art/code)
I can see how alot of people are getting over the whole zombie thing but Liam (design/script) and I always wanted to play a full length zombie point and click adventure, so we thought, why not make one! ;D
I played a little bit of Brutal Legend. Loved the themes and style of the game but I thought some of the gameplay was a little lackluster. Overall it was nice to see a metal themed game.
On a side note for the metalheads amongst you I've been spending my long hours of coding listening to "In Mourning" and "Istapp". Brilliant bands! ;)
Hey, if this game is successful, you should make a sequel with a dhampir as the main protagonist, and full-fledged vampire as the main antagonist. Kind of a modernized Castlevania in point-n-click adventure mode.
heya, it is october 2011 :D

Unfortunately we've been delayed until November due to Australian censorship classification woes. They don't make it easy for indies here since they charge the same amount of money to classify a small game as they do for big budget full-price titles.
Metal Dead is essentially ready for release though!
Metal Dead is now available for sale at Indievania (http://www.indievania.com/games/metal-dead) for $4.99.
The completed game thread is here.
