RELEASED! (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=48912.0)
And the Wicked shall hold their tongues.
They stir. Beneath this silent world of saints and sinners,
'twixt the living and the dead...

Sepulchre is an upcoming adventure short from Owl Cave, written by Ashton Raze (Richard & Alice)
and drawn by Ben Chandler (a billion and one games).
It'll be completely free to download, play and share around.
All being well, the game will be released on 2 September, 2013.

Oh, nice! Looking forward to this - with mr. Raze's writing and mr. Chandler's painting I'm expecting it to be quite a treat! Loving the slightly macabre feel too. :)
How many games I am working on: most of them.
Seriously, though, I love the script of this game, and I can't wait for people to play it and be intrigued!
Please add one more in-game screenshot.
This looks good and sounds veeery interesting (nod)
I am eagerly looking forward to play it! :cheesy:
This looks dope. Looking forward to playing.
Another game from you already? Awesome! :D
Shiny new things!

Does this happen to take place on a cruise liner? ;)
Art looks great, I'd say it's a tad overdone on the AA though.
It actually takes place on a weirdly large train!
Looking great! I want to pick up that fire extinguisher, and eat the meal, and figure out what's going on.
It looks amazing!
Well, I'm definitely intrigued...and it's coming out soon, woo-hoo! Looks interesting & mysterious.
So, woo! We're going to be releasing this (fingers very much crossed!) on September 2nd. Which isn't long! Oh man, that isn't long...
We're probably, I reckon, about 80% of the way through production now, and into the last crunch. All the art's done (it's all lovely!), all the voice acting's done, the music's in the process of being done, and the final bits and bats of the game are being scripted.
So, hey, have some new screenshots. Click to make big.

This was a fun project to work on, and Ilyich's portraits look great! I love the script, and am excited to see it nearly done. :cheesy:
I had to doublecheck the first post to believe that this is going to be free. What a cool old fashioned color scheme! Looking forward to the release.
Wow, you're working fast. This looks absolutely fantastic, what a great style! Can't wait to play it. :)
Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
kconan: Free indeed! We're still working out the details but we think we'll also be putting out a special edition for a small price, which will include the soundtrack and some other exciting gubbins. But the main game will be free.
And yes - Ben's post reminds me - I should probably mention that Ilyich came on-board for character portrait purposes. Jack de Quidt is also doing our soundtrack. Awesomes!
Very cool looking stuff, I'm getting a Shining vibe from it oddly enough. Probably him talking to a creepy muttonchops man.
Just a small detail i noticed, in the train car, the right top shelf has a shadow and highlighted wooden bar things. But the left one has none of that. :P
This is looking really nice. I'm definitely intrigued.
Looks amazing!!!!!
Hat off to Chandler & Ilyich. Again. This looks almost too good to go in a free short game.
Speaking of short: How short is it going to be?
About half an hour.
...reading only the last new post and there I thought release will be in about half an hour >_<
looking forward to this one!
Well, we're a few days away from release now, and we're just trying to eradicate the final few HUGE BUGS from a game about HUGE BAGS.
In the meantime, Ben, Raze, Molly and I thought we'd all jump into the game world ourselves to tell you a little bit about Sepulchre. Ignore the sleeping main character in the background. He won't hurt anyone.

I love the Owl Cave logo, it's like The Shining carpet. Excellent original trailer too. :D Needed some talk cycles though. I love huge bags.

Needed some talk cycles though.
Oh, yeah, it's pretty rough and ready. We have, like, a game to finish and everything. ;-)
Oh, man! I can't wait! Love the trailer. I AM a fan of trains after all!
The trailer is pure genuis.
Currently uploading to the server. Oh my.
Can also confirm that there'll be a Special Edition available. For $2.99, you get the game, the full original soundtrack, two desktop wallpapers, and a digital copy of Raze's book, Bright Lights & Glass Houses (Sepulchre is set in the same universe).
Out now! http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=48912.0
