Hi Simon-Fans!
My English isn't very good so I will keep it short: Simon the Sorcerer 1 & 2 were great adventure games with fantastic graphics. Simon the Sorcerer 3D was also a good game but had boring, ugly 3D graphics. So all we do is to remake the third game in 2D.
Here are two screenshots and links to our new demos. The demos are hosted by a german game portal so ignore all the german text and just choose a server and click on “Download nowâ€.

Wow, this is extremely cool. I couldn't believe you even had voice acting in the demo. Just wish there'd been more to do. How far along is the remake?

I just wonder, how you are going to transfer some puzzles into 2D.
However, keep the cd-rom puzzle at the very end in!
Luckily, this puzzle can be scripted in AGS!
EDIT: I just played the demo and there is just one thing: When Sordid's spirit goes into the mech, Simon's body should collapse, rather than dissolve.
After all, his body must remain for his resurrection.
looks good only problem is I am having trouble downloading it could someone mirror it please? I love all the Simon games really glad someone had this idea

Well this is great! I have liked all the Simon games and now it is nice to have the third part in 2d because the original 3D was a little bit dissapoint in the graphical way :).

This pleases me. Having not so long ago played STS 2 for the 1st time ever, only to find a ******* CLIFFHANGER!!! I am glad to hear of a sequel that will spare me of having to find and run an old shabby looking PC game just to get a conclusion the story. (STS 3d)

I just loved Simon the Sorcerer and I loved even more Simon the Sorcerer 2. And I played Simon the Sorcerer 3D, only for seeing that it wasn't the same.
I prayed to the gods for this.
Just two questions.
1: Will the full game have speech text? This is important for a lot of people that doesn't understand the talked english or german.
2: Maybe this is a little difficult, due to the fact that the voices looks like the original voices, directluy from the game, I supose. But have you though about dubbing the game to another languages? French, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian? It would rock.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO LIKE SIMONS OUTFIT DO NOT READ I agree this looks amazing and i really enjoyed playing the demo one thing tht would be cool i reckon (although millions would disagree )is change his outfit colour again. fair play it wouldnt match the 3d version but i still think it would be nice to change again
