I'm planning on adding some more shading to the characters and more scene detail. Just to the scenes that need it.

Will be uploading a sample of the game later tonight. Don't expect much. It's just so you can get the feel of the gui and animations. Some sounds are added and some voice recordings. The story has not been implemented yet everything is written down just not programmed in yet. Some characters are not complete and same with animations. You can access most of the rooms and you will get stuck in some parts of the game cause you spawn on a non walkable area so...

Crtl + y = Place on walkable path
ctrl + x = Change room
ctrl + s = all inventory (which isn't much)
Right-Click to interact

Try using the key on the ground at the hill on Peat's trash can. and
try using the Happy McBurger Shack cup on the trash can also.

Remember this is a mere shell of the game. The insides have not been filled.

This will be available for a few days. I'll give an update when I come back from work and post a link.

Just wanted to let you all know. My Character Benny, is my best friend in real life and I've incorporated him into SOA as the "Get Gas" Gas station manager.
He has his own site up. He mostly works on writing songs but for the last 4 months he's put that off to help me out on my game.
Get familiar with him so you will be familiar with him in the game, check out the site. Go to either www.benworkscreations.com or www.protije.com

Will you really be distributing the game on CD like in the picture?

It would be nice if some of the larger games (over 400 megs) came on CD. Of course I understand that the players would have to pay some amount for the cost of the CD.

I plan to. They would cost a few more bucks more then the direct download. Now I'm hoping that the game will be no larger then the capacity of a cd but if so might put on dvd instead and I'll take special orders for those who don't have dvd roms and spread it across multiple cds like monkey island 3 and such.

Well, if you go the CD route you could reasonably charge 5 dollars which seams like a fair price and should hopefully cover any distribution cost.

Hi crowman, your game seems to be really amazing, I like your style and I think that you are leaving the AMATEUR adventure game category...
Hope you're gonna finish this game soon !! However I'm not really fan of BIG J, I find his shorts a bit strange...
