Hello, in the moment i am creating my first adventure-game names "Pencil Worlds".

The Story:

You play a small doodle guy who find himself in a strange drawed Doodle-World.
He cannot remember his whole past and try to get know who he is.

Here's a screenshot:

Okay here is another screenshot:

Because it's my first game it would be nice, if you write a comment about the background and etc.  :)
Sorry for this poorly english. The Translation of the game make someone else.

Interesting concept and the art certainly draws attention to itself too. And I mean that in a good way.

I can't help myself thinking about sitting in a classroom during a boaring lesson and without a computer.
(It's like a time-travel for me  ::))
So what else can I do? I take refuge in my own little world in my exercise book ....

... your idea is charming somehow!

Nice idea. I've seen something similar in 2D side scrollers and FPS'es but not in an adventure game yet (though there might be something like this in the games database already). I like to see games where the graphics aren't (or at least pretend not to be) computer generated, instead based on tangible real life materials: think the brush strokes in Okami, the torn paper in And Yet It Moves, or the stopmotion inspired The Dream Machine/Cletus Clay games.

Goodluck, I look forward to seeing more of this one=)

Please post another screenshot (read the rules). Sounds like a nice idea but if you want c&c please post in the critics lounge.

Nice stuff. I like it, though I find it hard to tell if sketches are really viable for adventure games. I think you could prove me wrong, although everyone sketches, it's still a unique route to take. Best of luck!

Pinback

I like it a lot- I definitely think it could work. The background is very nice, although I think doing a pencil sketched cEGo might be the way to go.

Nice!  I think the doodles and sketches make for a great game universe.  I second Pinback's call for a sketched main character, though.  Or at least gray him down a little bit (not to blend in with background, just to make him seem part of the universe) -something.  Otherwise this looks like a good game in the making.

ooh! looks cool, I love the style, only "complaint" would be for all of the actions to be hand drawn as well, it seems to stick out to me.

great work, keep it up!  ;D
