Hello everybody!
At first I want to apologize for my poor english.
And now lets switch over to the topic.
I'm very new to AGS and Noisy Mountain will be my first game. So don't be to hard please:-)




(I tried to post some screenshots, but i guess, i'm to stupid, for the right syntax. Anyway. The links to the images work, so i hope the forum admins will be satisfied.)

It's some kind of hommage to Silent Hill, with a bit more of humor. I liked the athmosphere in Silent Hill and that the player do not know whats really happening in that town. I tried to catch this feeling. I hope i get some feedback about the athmosphere, gameplay and graphics. So please let me know, how you like it or not.
You play a character with no name, who wakes up in a hospital without knowing how he got there and why.
It would be good, if you understand a little german. Maybe i make a translation to english if the game will be complete one day...

If You do not want to download the Music, then do not download the music4demo.rar file otherwise extract the stuff of both archives in one folder an play the game.

Are you planning it in german or english?

to get the active inventory in the black screen read the manual under Inventory.

Thnx! I really forgot it. While creating the game, i will use German. But as soon as it is finished, i will make an English translation. I will also add sounds and music.The full game will have about 8 Locations with about 30 rooms.
I'm still working on the story a bit. But the idea is already complete.

Quotekind of hommage to Silent Hill, with a bit more of humor.

Nice graphics and good puzzles but I think some of the funny comments destroy the horror feeling. Maybe you should make it more serious.

Btw.: Does the saw have a function? I tried to dismember some of the dead bodies but without much success.Ã,  ;)

I know. You're right. The athmosphere gets a little destroyed by some comments of the character. Maybe i change it, to make it more tense.

For the Demoversion, the saw has no function. But the player will need it later.
Btw. Is it possible to make some kind of standard message, for the whole game if you try to use a inventory item on sth.?
Sth like: I can't use this here. or This will not work!

I'm not sure what an 'sth' is, but anyway, for standard messages when there's no action defined, use unhandled_event.

Example:

Check the manual for all possible 'what' and 'type' combinations.

The game looks nice so far, keep it up! :)

Where do i have to inster that script? In the Room Script or in the Global?
