Goose Quest 1 demo is ready for download! I'm about 40% done with the game. This isn't going to be great, if you can't tell by the title and my attitude. But it is going to be something to teach me to use AGS. Plus it might shape up to become a great one, you never know... I didn't animate the goose yet, but that will be done in the full game. As of now I'm just too lazy :)
Anyway, here's my screenshots.

Here's the demo. Don't expect much of anything.

How about a little bit about the game.
What's the plot/point of it?
Oh... I knew I forgot something...
The plot of the game so far is that you are a superhero goose. You have very little superpowers, however you do have certain helpful items that increace your power. There's a castle to the west of his house that has turned evil for some reason. Because of this bad things start happening, and creatures the goose defeated earlier (named Otis) come back again. The only villan so far you meet is the Evil Steak, remanents of the Mad Cows of Doom. The beginning of the game is you helping out some random characters, a little kid and a duck. The little kid tells you about how the castle to the west doesn't seem right anymore, so you next need to find a way to get in.
Looks quite neat, but, your goose looks a bit..well...duck-ish?
Take care with the name, I think Roberta Williams made a game for kids called Goose quest... I am not sure though.
Heh. No that sad, sad, sad game was called Mixed Up Mother Goose, where her bad habbit of stealing stories began.
Duck-ish? Hmm...
I looked up a picture of a goose, which has a black beak and black feet. I changed the colors to try it out, but it just didn't look right...
