The Jonestown Conspiracy Needs You

I am currently looking for voice actors for the first episode of my game that is scheduled for release early August.  You can check out the game here for background information.  What I am looking for are actors who can pull off american accents quite well and who would love to help out.

These are the characters as follows:

Narrator - A strong voice (doesn't have to be american)
Evan Michaels - Warm, kind and very naive. Has a sarcastic tone his voice.
Thomas - An ex cop who gets excited a bit too easy.
Monica - A felow work colleague who has a dry sense of humour and has an extremely sarcastic tone to her voice.
Ward Bushee - Your boss and editor-in-chief.  An impatient man that has a sense of anger to his voice but has a heart of gold.
Grace - A scared woman that is on the brink of suicide
Barry - Grace's husband, an elderly man who is confused about her wife's well being.
Courier - A young man who just doesn't like his job at all. Comes across jaded (minor role)
Mailman - A man with a strong southern voice (minor role)
Sean - A young IT guy who rambles on a bit about technology. (minor role)
Receptionist - An elderly women who gets frustrated over people asking her too many questions.
Mysterious CIA Agent - Dark, forboding and intimidating.

If your interesting in doing this email me at support@xenogiagames.com or PM me.  Also to note the subject matter is disturbing for the game and there is some minor language also.  I would love your help Smiley

I really like the colors and lighting levels of the two indoor house photos.  They look very professional.
For some reason it reminds me of Black Dahlia.

Is it a 1st person game or does the character walk on the screen?

The game is 3rd-person Ryan, and thanks for the great comments.  I also have a range of photographers that I know in various parts of the world that are helping me with location shots.  For example I have friend in Turkey who is doing panoramic shots :)

Oh woah!

I've had a bit of an obsession with the story of Jim Jones and Jonestown; I even found the last words from minutes before the death of the 700+ people that day...

Good to see a game being made, even if I'd reckon it'd be a little "dangerous" ground (for any relatives) and something that one should play "safe" at best.

Best of luck, nevertheless

Yeah I have the death tape too.. As for the topic I am being careful where I tread.  I am personally not putting my own views within the game and keeping to discovered facts and research.  So I am keeping it rather non-biased, I don't doubt that some people will be quite offended by the topic and I will put a warning in it to be safe.

This looks good!

How many episodes will there be in this series? And how much play time to you reckon you'll get out of them?

Good luck  :)

It is the biggest massive suicide ever. "Suicide". Great idea of a game.

You know Jackie Speier isn't dead, right?

Yes I know Hudders, using it as a catalyst for the actual story of the game.  It won't be totally factual, but for that reason I am considering changing the names of certain characters just in case of the controversy this game will have over its head.  I am not designing this game out of shock, but wanting to tell the story regarding the tragedy. Look what communism does to people :/

Umm, OK. This isn't the place to get into an argument but it's definitely not communism that made them all kill themselves. And using that as the main theme is a bit contradictory to what you said before:

I only mentioned about Jackie Speier because, if you are worried about playing it safe as Nikolas suggested, then inferring that a US politician had killed herself would indeed be dangerous ground.  ;)

Haha I said communism being in a sense that Jim Jones was a communist in his early years and brang it to some of his socialist views later on in the People's Temple.  I probably should have worded it a little better.  And yes I will be changing the name of Jackie.  Probably a wise move.. hehe

EDIT:
Okay out of saving my own ass I have a put a disclaimer at the start of the game stating that there are fictional events during the game, and also changed certain names to protect due to public image.

As a rule the fictional elements are just used as a plot device otherwise I would feel like I am making a documentary.

So for any Jonestown afficiandos, there are changes to the story but the important facts stay in.  I mean this is more going into the conspiracy theories regarding the events that are on the internet.  Like the alleged CIA connection with Jim Jones and the use of mind controlling substances and drug abuse.
