The Lone Loser

an old-school, completely original, urban-trash, made in Italy adventure game!

Be The Lone Loser. Help him doing his own business, despite his inner un-attitude to life.

ABOUT THE GAME:

The Lone Loser is the comical-tragic story of a totally average Italian cool-boy wannabee who luckily escaped once again from the claws of justice and his now on a quest to celebrate with his gang of wacky companions, find true love and travel to faraway lands. But will he be able to pull it off or he'll always be a loser?

The Full game will feature

- 20 location
- 20 characters
- All the cool objects that you could wish for 
- Action, drama, laugh, tears and some well spent time with the loser

GAME STATUS:

Story:99%
Background:80%
Sprites:70%
Animations:40%
Sfx: it's making some noise
Music: we really need help

THE TEAM:

We are currently a 3 people (2 writers/programmer - 1 Artist) team and we are working hard to get the full game out during the current year but we are currently looking for help in this areas:

-Translation and beta testing
-Music and sfx

and eventually a sprite animator could be of some use.

ABOUT THE DEMO:

In the demo you'll find 3 rooms, 3 characters and a taste of what life is like in the loser's clothes. Don't expect to progress too much in the story, tough because it's only to show how the game is coming along but it's being worked on right now and is progressing nicely.

I got through about 4 lines of the intro cutscene, then it crashed with the error:

We just fixed it a couple of minutes ago.... :)

When I mirrored the site on Altervista, i put up a non up-to-date English version.... :)
Now it's all ok!
