Hi,
I did play and replayed demo with the new GUI and it great.
The only recommendations has something to do with GUI.
When going places such to offices or to the van, it might best not to use "Use Icon". Normally "Use Icon" should be use to Open/close/pick up or interactions with inventory's item on things. Pehaps, First icon can be changed to "foot" and go from there.

just a heads-up: I re-did the site design. Now in slick metal style! It's not finished yet, I plan to add some more goodies and eyecandy, but it's better than the black typed layout.
I hope to resume work on the game as soon as possible, I just haven't had much time lately...
Ok, so here I am again! It's been a slow period, but now that I have a week off I've resumed work. So far I've done 2 new rooms, and I'm reworking a lot of sprites.

It looks really good, I love the story idea and for some reason, I just love the graphical style. Good luck with this one! I can't wait to play it.
Even if the storyline doesn't amaze me (I don't like cop-stories) I like the graphics and especially the use of comics as interludes to an act. It reminds me of Max Payne's games. Congrats!

Sounds a bit too much like Enter the Matrix or The Suffering for my liking, but will still be an amazing hit. That Comic sort of thing is awesome for the Cutscenes rulz!
I can assure you it will not be like that. The closest you could come to describe it would indeed be Max Payne-ish I guess. But minus the philosofical stuff and the constipated grimace thing... ;)
Anyway, hello! Yesh, I have returned. It's been a hectic period, and I've had very little time to do, well anything really. Luckily this period is drawing to a close, and I've had some time to work on the game again. I spent all afternoon coding a sequence I've had laying around for a while. All I'm saying it involves a nurse...and a blue cup!

This is not the forum for criticizing, but I think those outlines are a bit heavy. If you only got rid of the "double pixels" it would look even better ;)
Great looking game just one thing. you can change the font from the default AGS font to something more cooler like "comic sans MS"
Yes I've been looking into that but I can't find any good fonts. I've tried several fonts out of my own library, but without a proper outline font to go with it I find it too hard to read. And i messes up in the menu's. So if anyone has a good suggestion, I'm all ears...

TMC has been quiet for a while, and I apologise, but I have been extremely busy. Still am, but the schoolyear is over in a month, so I expect to get back to work on TMC by that time. I've got some great ideas, so stick around...

Thank you very much! XIII has always been a favourite comic and game of mine, and I've always wanted to be able to draw as good as Vance (still do). To be even remotely compared to that, is a very big compliment for me. So thanks.
Anyway, thought I'd give you a quick sitrep. I've just gone through hell to get the custom save/load/quit GUI in place, following the GAC tutorial. It isn't entirely accurate, so I have been coding and coding for an hour straight in the twilight and the heat, withstanding hundreds of "missing closing brace" errors(which directed me to somewhere entirely different in the script), to get this &^%!#@$% working. But it does now...I think. So I'm happy. Tired, but happy. Thanks to Gilbot for helping me sort out the last bugs in the script. Whew...
I'm gonna focus on creating several backgrounds in a row now, so it atleast looks like I'm making substantial process. I'll check back soon to show you some new stuff. Watch this space...

Wow, it's been a while. I apologize for the long period of quietness, but I've been mad busy. Mostly with school work, but ofcourse also with TMC. I chose to leave the thread locked for a while, because I wanted to make some real progress before I posted again.

I'm now at about 2/3rd of the story. The last bit will be much more action-packed. You can see a chunk of that in the trailer. I'm working on a better walkcycle (you asked for it Steve ;)) and some cutscenes. I was hoping to post them a bit earlier, but I've been tied up with other things. I'm also overhauling some puzzles and most dialogues. Rest assured you get a very polished product. ::)
