You play Alex Grier, a former Bronx homocide detective who has been
transferred to Cape Cod for putting some noses out of joint (the exact
details are never revealed). Because of your experience you are the
first chosen by Collins when one of the Mulvehille sisters calls
saying that there's a body in her greenhouse. Collins assigns a rookie
detective named Mitch McElroy to assist you, but makes it clear that
he wants results.
