Title: The Quest for the Lost Ruby of the Catlands ("Where's my lackey?")
Post by: Blitzerland on Wed 28/07/2004 05:34:57
Alright. First, i'm already about half done with this game, so this isn't some "imawannaben00b" thread.Ã,  Onwards!

A stupid yet funny, humorous, and sadistic game set in some far off place roughly between my spinal cord and the part of my brain that enables me to type this.

You are a cat (living in the cat-country of Tajii) who hates his life, his job, and alchoholic beverages (and the subsequent hallucinations, more on that later), who gets a chance to make something of his life by leading an expedition to recover the Lost Ruby of Catland.

UPDATE: Game is nearing completion. Still no idea what a "Kenny Everest" is. Will dedicate my life to finding out. Screenies posted on website (www.freewebs.com/blitzerland). Enter site at own peril.

Featuring excessive unneccessary, poorly-animated violence!

I had a lot of fun making this game, and hopefully you will enjoy playing it. If not, try rebooting your computer without saving your files.

This actually is my first game, so enjoy. The graphics are homemade using paint, so don't expect too much. The game-itself should be top-notch.

I am too deep into development to accept any suggestions, but if it makes you feel important, go ahead and post them here anywayÃ,  ;)

Release Date: About the same as Id's: "When it's done"

-Bye for now

Sounds good!
You're telling us the plot. It's all done in the best possible taste. And other Kenny Everett references too old (and British) for this forum.
Some screenshots?

1.) That wasn't the entire plot. Just the beginning  :)

2.) What the heck is a Kenny Everest message?

3.) Sure. I'll post a couple screenies.

I posted a screenie at my website (enter at your own peril), www.freewebs.com/blitzerland.

The photo is large (and this is only a small fraction of the actual city!!!), and  takes a minute thirty seconds to load. Maybe more, depending on your connection.

Don't worry if you can't see it, because i'll probably submit a demo when I have time.

What the heck is a Kenny Everest message?!

-Back to work I go!  8)

The other stuff on my website is for something else-and is not game related, so you don't need to read it. I will convert the BMPs once I have time. I need to finish a part of my game, first.
