The Seven Doors will be released before Christmas... hopefully by the end of November. It has lots of puzzles and each puzzle has to be solved by solving other puzzles behind one of the doors... but Splat44 has to beta test first.
The Story:
James, our hero, (you) find yourself in a long hallway with seven doors. There are many items found in the room. Some useful and all necessary at some point in time. Your mission is to find out what your mission is using the items in the rooms. Is your mission to be a fighter or peacemaker? There are multiple ways to solve most of the puzzles.
Here are some screenshots.

It's a bit different than my other games in that it has more puzzles and it's got animals all over the place... Birds, Dogs, Horses. I had a lot of fun making the animals. It has a few rooms that the clouds move across the sky continuously. So neat! Thanks to everyone on the Forums. STRAZER the Inventory animations are so cool!
Looking forward to see how all this goes. carry on.
I'm excited, but since this game is in 3D, I'm not sure my PC would be able to handle it.... T_T
Wow, this looks pretty cool...heck yeah, fight against weed! Nice anti-drug statement. :) I'll help you beta-test when it's ready for it, drop me a PM. Good work!

What do you mean in 3D? I think your PC will handle it the same way as any 640x400 hicolor(?) AGS game.
Slut Jennifer...lol!
Looking forward to it, theatrx.

my PC has been moody recently, after I use it for an hour or two, it says it has low virtual memory; I've deleted half of my stuff already and it's still like that. And the debugger is missing apparently.
Yes, I can probably play it. But it's going to be really slow.
just check in your task manager to see whats eating up your ram.
this is not 3D game! The character is nice, but the backgrounds are different than the character's sprites.
Steve,
Whoa what excellent graphics!
Sent me the link when it ready for beta work.
Oh yes, by the way, I've seen lung doctor for hopefully the last time last week. Yahoo!
by the way, i fully agree with stan, none of the graphics match eachother and will be the downfall of the game. a little more continuity will go a long way
I agree with the forum rules ... this is not the critics lounge. If he wants advice/help with the graphics, he'll post in there.
That rule always bothered me, because it's specifically aimed at the thread-maker. If the thread-readers have a less positive but still constructive criticism about something they're looking at, or even just an opinion, and can't post it, then the point of these threads goes waaaaaay down.
Btw... vertigo, no sweat, it's not 3D. It's generated as 3D, then exported as regular BMP or PNG files. AGS-wise, it's all 2D.

The GiP forum is for posting information about the game that is being produced. Story, plot, development, etc. Comments about the graphics are okay, but suggestions, paint-overs, etc. are not. If we allowed CL like assistance, the threads would be full of Critics Lounge material (which is what the CL is for) and those that just want information on the game would have to sift through pages of off-topic posts about graphics. As such, this is not the Critics Lounge.
Now that's it! Back on topic! Any and all comments regarding this matter should be handled in PMs.
speaking of story and plot.... what is the story and plot?

whew! that's good then.
This is the... how maniest time you use naked castrated man in your games? :P
But anyway, multiple solutions to puzzles is something we don't see nearly often enough, so good on ye for that.
I didn't use any naked castrated men. Those guys are weeds that you can either kill or not kill. It's your call.
I'll agree with akatosh on the last one..
Many thanks to splat for all his work on beta testing... It's so gruelling but so important! Steve
This game looks AMAZING ;D
The dinoconda in the first shot is just so awesome, and Nosferatu in the 6th shot is brilliant as well. :)
I am so looking forward to playing this. :D
Thanks. The Dinoconda was made in Poser... I love that program and the Nosferatu guy was also made in Poser... the background is from the original Dracula movie starring Bella Lugosi. Beta testing is coming along nicely. Put up the newest version yesterday with a bunch of fixes. Hopefully, it will be out by next week.
I do hope you bought the Dinokonda figure from Daz3D, aswell as Poser or DazStudio, because I happen to know the creator of the Dinokonda, and I would happily hand your name over to him ;) So let's hope you are playing legal here! :o
Actually, Daz gave the Dinokonda figure away for free recently, as one of there regular free item promotion things. I picked it up myself. :)
You still have to have a receipt for it which I have.

Ooh did not know that, I'm sorry! :)
