... What Song?

Story
Chapter 1 Summary
You are a Robot. Homeless and alone in the city. Your systems are failing. You can't speak and your memory is fried. At first, it's important to find parts, to restore your failing systems.
But as you explore and talk to people, you learn of the robotics lab on the island in the bay and of a string of murders that have occured.
It becomes obvious, that you've come from that island and that there is another like you, loose in the city and that you must find each other.

This sounds (and looks) pretty fantastic!

If you are concerned about the appearance of the graphics, however, please post in the Critics Lounge.  You will get invaluable advice in there!  To the rest, keep the C&C out of this thread!

Splodge

Thanks.
Yeah, I'll keep the c&c away from here. Sorry about that.

Dualnames

This looks AMAZING. I really like the minimalistic approach.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Fitz

Reminds me a bit of a little flash game I played once. Can't remember the name, but it was about robots, too, and the characters also were just black silhouettes. Although that game more cartoonish in style, whereas yours looks more realistic. In any case, looks awesome, very stylish :) And that last screenshot with letter puzzles looks interesting, too, I wonder what the rules for that mini-game are. I LOVE letter/word puzzles! Used to be ADDICTED to Bespelled.

Mouth for war

This looks really awesome :D Good luck with this project!!
mass genocide is the most exhausting activity one can engage in, next to soccer

Thanks. The puzzle is based on this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numberlink http://www.menneske.no/arukone/eng/

Right now, it's just a straight up clone of that kind of puzzle but I might modify it later.

Tabata

Seems to become an atmospheric and interesting game â€" I am watching out for this

Good luck for your project

This looks very interesting. I too like the graphical style you're going with and i'm interested to see what you do with the 'upgrades needed for certain areas' idea. I look forward to seeing this one in action :)

Snake

This sounds great!

Fitz almost took the words out of my mouth. The art style immediately reminded me of this: http://www.zombiegames.net/games/Deanimator.html

Looking forward!

Hi Darth! ._./
Grim: "You're making me want to quit smoking... stop it!;)"
miguel: "I second Grim, stop this nonsense! I love my cigarettes!"

Big GC
