Title: 16-bit graphics
Post by: on Wed 25/06/2003 16:24:59
I can't seem to figure out how to make my images for my game in 16-bit high color using photoshop or any other program for that matter. I can only find 8 bits per channel (24-bit which doesn't import correctly) or 256 color. Any help?

On a similar note, remember that importing 24-bit graphics into the 16-bit capabilities of AGS might result in slight discoloration. To avoid this, use a good paint program like Paint Shop Pro and manually reduce it to 32K colors, using dithering if possible to reduce the "messy" appearance of some images. :)
