Title: 320x240 Res slow-down with scrolling background @ 890x580
Post by: SoN on Wed 27/02/2008 18:33:27
I've heard that, with regard to room width and height, one has no limit and the other has a limit greater than my room's 890 or 580. Is this true for all resolutions, or do the upper limits change for each resolution?

In the view editor I preview my animated cursor at a faster speed than it appears in the game itself so I assume there's a slowdown going on.

Sorry to bother with this one but I had a hard time finding what I need.

*When the game is set to 640x480 instead of 320x240 and the graphics are reloaded, the cursor still experiences the same slow-down from the preview.

*Thanks, didn't know you could go negative. This thread's done

In the preview, you can set the speed of the animation.
In-game, the cursor is animated using the set frame delays added to a default speed.
Try changing the cursor anim's frame delays to -3 or something.
