animate

I have a background and have placed my character (default Roger) how does one animate him and make him move around the scene?
Sorry for the simplistic question, but a newbie am I.

you can script a cutscene in ags. if you would like to in ags, we can continue talking here, otherwise, with any other program, its not an ags editor question, which wouldnt belong in this subforum
