Hi :)

I thought I would ask both of my questions in one.

1) How do you make your inventory at the bottom of the screen like in the game Indiana Jones? I dont want to have to go to the top of my screen to get to my inventory, I want it to always be there and have a scrolling function.

2) I have a certain room where there is two doors to the north going to different place. How do you make it do that?

I hope I'm not asking already asked questions, but I have looked and not found them. If there are these already posted, I'm sorry

Thanks so much

Question 1 involves edititing the Guis, which might not be exactly beginners stuff, but you might like to find some monkey island oder indy templates downloadable on the internet to see how it works.

ABout the doors: Just make two different hotspots, one for each of the door. For each hotspot you can decide about the interactions, for a door it would  maybe be "open" or "Walk on" when the doors are opened already, then you can send the player to a different room with each hotspot.

Thanks. I would have never figured out the door thing on my own.

I've been doing this for a week now :P

Heres another toughy I just remembered:

How do you show the score the player has got.

I'm finding global scripting very confusing at the moment, so any technical stuff needs to be explained slowly. You know, the way you explain things to a five year old. ;D

Just have something like this on one of your GUI's on a label:

You have @SCORE@ out of @TOTALSCORE@ points.
