Don't create two  topics for the same question - and then create them only 4 minutes apart.

Seeing as this is the only topic (of three) that has been replied to yet, I'll reply to this one.

monkey_05_06's Self-Help Guide for n00bs:

1.Ã,  Read the forum rules.Ã,  This will help you not get banned, which will in turn help you to get help in the forums.

2.Ã,  Next you should read the BFAQ.Ã,  Other than the forum rules, this should be the very first thing you ever read.Ã,  It will give you a good push in the right direction, and might answer your question.

3.Ã,  Then, read the manual.Ã,  I'm not saying you have to read the entire manual, but you should at least search the manual for an answer to your problem, and make sure you read over the reference materials at least once.

4.Ã,  Search the forums.Ã,  The forum search function is there so you can find topics related to your problem.Ã,  You're likely to find threads unrelated to your problem, so you'll have to search through the results manually.

5.Ã,  If, and only if, you have completed the above statements, and still haven't found and/or can't understand the answer to your problem, then you can create a new thread.

6.Ã,  Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER create more than one thread asking about the EXACT same problem, especially not in a time span of less than 15 minutes.

You don't have to follow my self-help guide, but it is so titled for a reason.Ã,  If you follow these steps then you'll be a lot less likely to be harassed for breaking the rules, or asking a problem that's already been asked 100 thousand times before.

And just for the record, the answers to both of these problems can be found if you follow these steps.

Edit:Ã,  Spelling correctly also helps.Ã,  May I suggest a dictionary?Ã,  I'm not trying to sound rude, but you won't find any entries for "cutcean" or "cutscean".Ã,  Try looking under "cutscene". ;)

To start a cutscene, use the StartCutscene() command as detailed in the manual.

To use plug-ins:
QuoteAGS Manual:
To get any plugin to work you must do the following:

1. Place a copy of the plugin files in the AGSEDIT directory (not your game folder).

2. Start the AGS Editor up, and load your game. Go to the Game menu, and select Plugin Manager. There, you should see all available plugins listed. To use one in your game, check the box next to it and press OK. The plugin developer should provide instructions on how then to use their plugin. Save your game to make sure that AGS remembers that you want to use the plugin.

Ah, the manual. You should try reading it! It'll save you some time.

You should also download the demo game from the main page and tool around within that to get used to the editor. This will also help you learn how to do cutscenes.

also check out "StartCutscene" and "EndCutScene" inside the manual.

We normally suggest that new users to AGS do not use plugins when they just come to AGS, and tell them to get used to the editor first. If you want to ignore that, just go ahead and download the plugin that you desire, and read the "read me" that comes with each one of them telling you how to use them.

What plugins did you have in mind anyways, since now there are some converted into Script Modules that don't require plugins.

And please DO NOT MAKE 3 POSTS ABOUT THE SAME THING ON THESE FORUMS!
Your post will be answered. I don't know what other forum out there allows that, but that is horrible net-iqutte.
Maybe a nice tech forum mod will merge these two threads.

- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.
