Background Wont Show up [SOLVED]

I've looked in the manual and I've even hit up the search on the forums and I haven't seen a post or refrence to this.
When I go into adventure game studio and I click the import background button, nothin happens after I import it. It's hilarious, however many times I do it, It don't show up. There's nothin I Can really do but post here and look through the manual but when I import my background, it stays black with the edges in everything. Here are some screen shots :

Maybe you could try changing the color depth.

That didn't do anything, it still does the same thing in the screenshots.

Guessing from the size (125kb) of the BMP file it's probably saved as 300 * 200 16-bit hi-colour right?
Try resaving the image as 24-bit true colour and import. (Even if your game's set to 16 bit you can import 24 bit images).

Yea, I saved it in 16 bit in photoshop, but saved in 24 bit worked, thanks.
