Title: Cannot select hotspots
Post by: DeathBySexy on Tue 10/12/2013 19:16:02
Hi everyone!

I am new with AGS and learning my way with it. I am doing a test game and the problem is when I try to make hotspots I cannot
because the mouse turns into an eyedrop instead of an crosshair. Is this a bug or a common problem, or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Best,
DBS

you have to select the tool you want to paint with before, like line, freeform line, rectancle, etc.

I am a bit confused by the topic title, is your problem that you can't select, or draw hotspots?

A screenshot, just in case:

From left to right:
- select ("eyedrop");
- draw line
- freeform line
- draw rectangle
- fill
- undo
- import from file
(other two less important)

Wow, do I fill stupid now :-[

Thanks guys, found it. I knew I had to draw a rectangle to make a hotspot.

Thank you very much again!
