Ã, i followed all the steps, and yet, when i test my room/game out, it will not allow me to see my cursor ???(when i move the mouse over the window with the game, i cant see it) and when i click on the screen nothing happens, my character wont move.
please help asap
ps. i searched as much i could as many resources as i could
thanks in advance
Well, if you used the "Empty Game" template instead of the "Default" one, it is possible that you don't actually have a cursor graphic defined.
Go to the "Cursors" tab and see if you have any cursor images loaded. If you do, start a new game using the default template, load the room in that game and see if you have a cursor there.
So, to solve this problem either draw some cursor graphics and import them in the "Cursors" tab, or use the default template.
A good place to start:

Follow things step-by-step with the tutorial and you should be fine.

ok ill try those things thanks
by the way, i was working in the default mode, i havnt tried the empty mode yet.
Have you tried playing in full screen?
yep, ive tried full screen. no results
Tried with another room? Tried changing the cursor graphics?
yep, tried that, still nothing...
Make sure you haven't accidently created a command for hide mouse cursor.
And additionally, have you tried playing any AGS games? Did you see the mouse cursor there?
If you didn't, then it could be a good idea to upgrade DirectX and your video card drivers to the latest version available.
Or how far are you in your game? Try starting again.
tried all those things, still no go.
i downloaded rpg toolkit2 and im working with that..
sorry i couldn't use this program, i still loved the creation setup, just it wont work for me so c ya'll later. thanks for advice
i had the same problem;you need to make the room the same size as you defined at the beggining.(for me it was something like 300X200)
