Can someone please explain them to me? Like, what do I need to run them? I have seen several interesting games here that I couldn't play because that was their file type.  ???

And I hope this is in the correct board. I'm still fairly new to the forums on this site.

For example, the two games I was hoping to cure my boredom today: Infinity String & How Many...

See my next post for solution to my problem.

Er.... .cfg files are config-files which are simple TEXT-files. You can open them in any editor. But the games themselves should be .exe files. The config files just store infos for the game like resolution, colors etc.

That's strange then. I have seen games that I extract from their rar archive and they only contain that file. Any reason for this?

Well, I just solved it. I could swear I tried this before, but I guess not. One of my extraction programs doesn't want to extract all of the files for some games. I tried another method and got all the files.

Thanks anyways because if you didn't tell me there should be others, sadly I would still be sitting here not sure what to do. lol
