Hi all, & thanks a million to Crimson Wizard for helping me out here recently. I appreciate it tremendously.

Once again to re-introduce myself, I'm kind of a big idiot, and for that reason I struggle to find what I'm looking for in the manual. So I apologize for asking questions that are answered in the manual. I will try to keep it to a minimum!

My question is, how can one change the screen x,y location of a specific speech view?
For example, one of my characters' speech view sprites looks perfect as is when on screen. Another character's speech view would look better if it were all the way to the lower left corner. As it is currently, the space between the screen edges and sprites looks sloppy. I want to move the sprites over and eliminate those spaces.

Would the script be entered into the same function as the talk to event that leads to the speech view?

Any assistance would be very well received. I'm new and learning. Although I did briefly use Adventure Game Studio in the 90s. I've loved all the youtube tutorials, Julia M, Space Quest Historian & the Sammy's Quest tutorials, all fantastic and very helpful. Yet my brain is slower than a one-legged dog when it comes to the scripting.

You all rock, happy game creations to all!

Type Speech in any script of your project and push F1 and hopefully you can experiment from there on. It's not rocket science. But i feel you, when i started out (LOL!) one AGS user flat out told me "maybe programming isn't for you" or something along those lines. If only he knew the stuff i've been cooking as of lately, ho ho! Some brains are just slower, just accept it and try and learn. But typing something in and pushing F1 like player. then f1 you will see everything about player's options or speech you'll see everything about speech in AGS, etc. Very useful!

My first try would be to type Speech.PortraitY=0;  (insert your numbers of choice) you also have Speech.PortraitXOffset=0;

Thank you, that was a big help! You rock, and glad to hear you're cooking up some good stuff!
