control action in one room from other room[solved]

I have a switch in one room and when it gets the action I need itÃ,  to enable a hotspot in the other room.
I'm kind of lost on how to do it.
if it is done with variables you will have to spell it out for me or maybe even a demo I could look at on how it is done.
