Title: Character sizing
Post by: Joelman on Tue 18/11/2003 18:30:12
hey all, I was wondering what resolution I should make my character sprites to have the best balance of detail and fitting well on the screen. I was going to just trial and error it, but my deadline is fast aproaching. I would really apreciate if someone can throw some opinions my way as far as sprite sizing goes.
thanks
Joelman

not that this is ags technical, nor supposed to be in this forum, the idea for your sprite deals with whatever background you make.  just size them up to a door frame of a background that you make.
there is no set size for sprites.  Guybrush in Monkey Island 1 is considerably smaller compared to himself in Curse of Monkey Island.
