Title: compile ags to dos

I dont know how to save ags game as dos game . Every time I try to save it says acdos.exe is missing. What can I do about it?

What version are you using? As of 2.7, the DOS engine doesn't exist, although it's still in the menu.

That's about the size of it, unless you go back to 2.62 or earlier.

ok thanks, few more things to ask

what's different between v2,62 and 2,7 except you can make a dosgame?

And where do I get 2,62 ?

The script language is quite different between the two, and 2.7 has a few extra commands. Have a look 'round the tech forums for examples of the differences in scripting. You can get a copy of 2.62HERE (http://www.agagames.com/ags/ags_262.zip) - but keep in mind you'll have to re-do anything you've done so far, to make it compatible. Ask yourself if it's really worth it - do you really NEED to produce a DOS version?
