Title: Could someone please help me with a music function in my AGS Game?
Post by: WackyWildCard on Sat 06/05/2006 03:49:15
I'm having a lot of fun with AGS, but -

???

I'm having trouble inserting 2 simple MIDI Music files into my game. They are 2 MIDI exerpts from Prokofeiv's Peter and the Wolf. All the other MIDI files work, but I can't get these 2 to work.

What am I doing wrong?

Please help.

If you need a sample of the 2 MIDI files, here is my e-mail: wacky_wild_card_1_2_3@hotmail.com

Thanks for all your help!

Did you name the music1.mid  music2.mid etc?
And they need to be in the music folder and rebuild your vox file.

Problem Solved  ;D

I'm not sure what it was exactly, perhaps the MID file was not compatible with AGS. No matter. I simply installed a cool Demo Program that records ALL sound on your Desktop! So, I was able to record the MID files in WAV, and eventually OGG format.

But thank you very much for taking the time to help.

Btw, Windows' Audiorecorder can record all sounds, too, even commercial games'.
