Title: Creating my cut scene
Post by: Iwan on Tue 17/02/2004 15:07:22
Hi,

I want to create a intro for my game. It will be a woman being abducted by aliens. This how i would like it to be,

A woman stands alone for a few seconds...

...A beam of light shines down on the woman...

...the woman looks up...

...the woman rises up the beam of light.

Can i do this with in AGS or can i create a avi file and play it in AGS.

Thanks,

Iwan

You can draw this as a long animation. Which, especially with that beam of light, would look better with your graphics style then any raw draw line or something.

You can do this with the AnimateCharacter command. Look it up in the help file that comes with ags, because that could explain it better than me.

draw out every frame of this as an animation. then call the animate character command
