darkening the screen

hey guys,

yup its me the chicken, posting in the *begginers* technical Questions.

newayz, i wanna know if there's a way of darkening the screen but without having to import another background cus thats waaay too many colours.

ive tried tint screen but all that does is change the colours and not the brightness.

its not what im looking for, i only want the screen to fade partialy(like 75%) not all the way to black, and other sugestions?

Apart from RawDrawFrameTransparent() function which does envolve the necessity to import another background image you could use the Flashlight plugin. Unfortunetly a-v-o's server is offline now. :P

Also, this page hosts all the plugins. But again the flashlight plugin zip archive seems to hold the FSM plugin for some reason.
