Title: Deleting an uploaded game
Post by: Dikshita on Sat 12/12/2015 15:39:55
I have uploaded a game to the AGS game database. Looks like it has got some issues which need to be improved/changed. Is there anyway i could delete it from the database?

The game page isn't really a place to "upload" your game, but it's the place you link it to your download site.
Just upload your zipped file from the compiled folder (make sure the game file and all other files are there), and then upload it to your hosting site (mediafire?) then copy the link there to the url for "download this game" on the Games page.

No need to "delete" the entry. Unless you really not ready to upload your finish game in a short time.

If you entered your forum name (and it looks like you did for both times you entered the game), you can edit the entry. Which means you can edit the download link.
So if you are using a service like Dropbox where the URL will stay the same, just overwrite the file with the new version. If you use one click hosting like mediafire, just edit the game and change the link to the new one.

I'd wait til a moderator sees this, removes one (or both entries) and notifies you.
