Title: Dialog type stuff
Post by: Johnny Odd on Tue 11/05/2004 11:28:41
Just a quikie....

How would I go about making several characters speak at the same time - where the dialog lines apear on the screen at once?
Also - how about having a character talk whilst you can just ignore him - so they're kinda in the background - like the bad comic in cirque de vale?

Thankus muchos.

"Several character speak at the seame time"? Lke all at once, or after each other, like a conversation beween six people? In case of the last, in the dialog script, just use more script names... like

ego: I'm hungry...
man: Me too!
gal: I'm not... I just ate a pizza.

---

To display speech in backgound, use the DisplaySpeechBackground function. It does not run the talking anim, though.

DisplaySpeechBackground also lets you have people speak at the same time.
