Title: Difficulty when drawing walkable areas *SOLVED*

I know its kind of a noob question, but when i try to draw the walkable areas , this pops up " You are currently using the eraser. To draw new areas, change the selected area number." What should i do? Thnx

Change the "colour" to something other than 0. When you paint with colour 0 you're actually erasing the area. I know... that warning is very annoying, especially to people who are already experienced in the editor (I'm not sure whether the warning could be turned off as I'm too lazy to check).

I too was confused by the message when I started using AGS...

Just make sure that you use the correct area. You can have multiple walking areas. Just decide one that you want to draw, make sure it is selected in the drop-down menu on the right ("Walkable area ID 1").
