Put a transparent GUI at the bottom, put a label on that and set @OVERHOTSPOT@ as the label's text.

Please use the forum search for questions like this first; surely you aren't the first to ask this in about ten years, right?
Also, there are several recent threads about hotspot texts following the cursor, it doesn't take much to use that without all the cursor code.

Looking at your questions over the last weeks, I really recommend using the manual more. Read through it at least once.

I was talking about the fact that AGS is around for almost ten years now.
Don't you think that during that time, maybe somebody else already asked this question?
Never mind.

I tried a forum search for "display hotspot name" in the Beginner's forum:
Disregarding your thread, this is the first reply in the second search result:
QuoteMake a gui (transparent if you wish) and place a label on it.
As label text write simple @OVERHOTSPOT@.
Make the GUI visible and place it somewhere on your screen.

The manual isn't helping much? I guess that's because the manual doesn't provide solutions to problems like this. What it does is explain all of AGS's features. That's why I told you to read through the entire manual.
If you know all the basic building blocks, you can build the stuff you need yourself.

It's a rule of this forum to exhaust all other resources before opening a thread, and this is clearly not what you're doing.
(It's also a rule that users shouldn't act as moderators, which I'm breaking right now, but Ashen's AWOL.)
