Title: DOTT Tentacle walking animation
Post by: Mats Berglinn on Sat 05/02/2005 20:20:04
I've recently been testing a walking animation of Green Tentacle from DOTT. When I test play with the character it looks like if Green Tentacle moves when he squirms when he tries to jump (for those who have played Day of the Tentacle the tentacles can't walk so they jump, the sucker sticks to the ground, they squirm in order to get loose and jump) when he actually should be still, just like in DOTT. Does anyone know how to make it look more like DOTT that Green T is still when he squirms and only moves when he makes the leap?

I don't have AGS in front of me, but can't you go to the Views, and change the delay on certain frames?
You may need to go to the Characters pane and uncheck the box "Uniform Movement Speed" for this to work.

(If you can't add delay on separate frames, import the frame you want to delay multiple times into the View for the same effect).
