Downloading kings quest

I've just recently downloaded kings quest and it won't play on my computer and it suggested that I go to the AGS site to figure it out. It says that "There was a probleminitializing graphics mode 320 X 200 (problem can not set video mode)" If there's anyone that can help me it would be much appreciated.

Try setting it up to run in 640x400 instead. There's a setup executable right?
