How can I save the text on my game into a file?
I want to pass it on a English language corrector tool.
Should I use the file created when one wants to make a translation?
Thanks

Just create a new translation (Translations tab in the editor), select "update" and open the trs file with a text editor. You get all the strings then to drool over  ;)

I suggest you get the translation done by someone who's fluent in the language you want to translate to though, or at very least get it proof read. Computer translations nearly always sound wrong. There's plenty of people on the forums who'll translate for you.

Yeah, I can remember your Dagger project ...  :-\ Wasn't the best of translations... ;-)  Besides, there's a lot such appications won't notice. Words may be right, but grammar is something they all have trouble with (some people as well by the way :-) )

Just curious, what tool would you be using?

Just to clear this up, it seems miguel doesn't want a machine to translate but merely to spell-check his game texts.

You should use the file created for translation. Give it to someone to proofread it, get it back and use it as default language(set this via the editor by right clicking on the file found below translation in the pane).
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

In this case, the TRS file must be included with the EXE like any other translation?

No, the actual text in the game gets replaced with the translated (corrected) texts. The translation can be deleted safely afterwards.

First of all, thanks for the answers guys,

Ghost: thanks, I figured it was something like that

One Dollar: Yes I am doing that, let's say I need to pass the text into a grammar filter first.
Broken Butterfly is helping me doing that. She corrects typos and wrong uses of the English               language and stuff like accents and regional linguistics.

Leon: Hi Leon, you sure had a lot of work helping me out on Dagger, and yeah I understand that and will use the tool for a first step.

KhrisMUC: that is exactly what I want, just something like FireFox is doing right now while I write this words.

Dualnames: thanks man, that's what I'll do

Ok, thanks again everybody and sorry for not answering sooner.
