Title: GAMES
Post by: on Sat 20/09/2003 17:02:33
Hi

I have downloaded Lucy Lavendar, The Adventures of Zak Mcraken and Flashbak,
but how do i get them to work, because when i run them at the moment i can
hear the noise but they are just a blank screen and i have put them onto a
smaller screen which makes the pictures come up but then i still cannot play
them because the mouse does not show up on the game screen it goes behind
the screen.

PLEASE can someone help me?? ???

This is totally, completely the wrong forum. This is a BEGINNERS HELP FORUM for AGS USERS.

That said...

Look up 'ScummVM' on Hotbot or google. That should make Zak McKracken work anyway.

I think the correct forum should be "Gen Gen"... technical issues (which are non-AGS related) are mostly dealt with there.

Because, as this help-questions looks like, this is prolly a problem with their videocard...

This isn't really a topic for discussion, so I'd say: Move it. :)

Blimey, can we all stop discussing which forum this should be in and answer the question? :P

Sophie: it's possible your graphics card doesn't support 320x200 graphics mode. If those games came with a Setup program, run it and select "640x400".

If that doesn't help, select to run them in a window instead of full-screen and see if that helps.
