I updated my AGS to 2.7 but now I don't have the deafault GUI which I used to have in the older version... why?

What version of 2.7 do you have?
And you can import GUI's.

You just need to select the Default Game template. If it's not there, re-unpack the whole AGS distribution package into the folder and it should be there.
