ags games help

im tryin to play ags games but after ive downloaded them and i try to play them a box pops up with' cant get 260-300' (something like that but cant remember the numbers). ive tried changin my screen resolutions but the lowest they go is 600-800 (again something like that) and it still doent work. i know im not being very clear but does anyone understand?

If you screen capture (alt+printscreen, and open paint, press ctrl+v. then save) or try to copy them messages  (ctrl+c when the dialog is active and ctrl+v to paste into) so we can get a clear picture of what you mean...
