Having Troubles adding a new template to AGS 3.12

I recently got AGS and am excited to start working on some games , unfortunately I am having a bit of trouble accessing custom templates.
I downloaded them from AGS's site and extracted to \Program Files (x86)\AdventureGameStudio3.12\Templates\  as I believe I was supposed to, BUT when I make a new project the template options don't show up for me, only the original ones. Is there something I am missing?

They are probably very old and are not compatible with the version of AGS you have and therefore do not show.

Exactly, which is a good thing btw, because you shouldn't use them anyway (since they are so old).

What kind of template are you looking for? Maybe we can point you to a more current version.

I'm looking for templates for 2-click sytem/inventory and a fight template similar to 'fight' on : http://americangirlscouts.org/agsresources/Templates.html

DarthSheldon, please upgrade to 3.2.1, a.s.a.p. It contains some major changes in the scripting especially audio-related.
