I have been reading about making dialog and know about 'Dialog_request("whatever")' but dont know where to put it eg. global script... ect.

This is also covered in the Beginners' FAQ. If it's not too clear, let me know, I'll try to make it simpler (though I don't see how; it's simple enough already).
