I honestly don't know what's causing this. I've gone through my script, but I've not found any instance of "objekt" in it at all. I've checked all my interactions and there's nothing at all with Objekt in it.

I had it wait for 120 loops, after which it went to room 2, which is the main screen. If I disable that, and just add a hotspot that the user can click, the word Objekt still flashes onto the screen before the cursor becomes active. It happens on the second screen as well.

I am thoroughly confused. Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this?

Check if you named say a hotspot area or a room object having that name.

Maybe it's a GUI label. Are you using a template?
As you probably know, "Objekt" is german for "object".

It's a title screen. There's no hotspots or areas or objects there. And on the screens that DO have hotspots, the word disappears after the cursor appears.

I am using a template, yeah, but this hasn't ever happened before, and if it was the template, where could I find what's causing this?

Objekt is also dutch for Object :)

Maybe it's a GUI label.

I don't know what template you're using, but I guess it's some template that can display the name of stuff the cursor hovering above? In that case it can well be a GUI label used for displaying that text, whose content was initially set to "Obekt", and was blanked after the game starts. Just check the GUIs in the editor.

Ah damnit, I missed it on the first and second check. There was a text GUI that for some reason had the standard content of Objekt. Thanks for solving the obvious :)

For all the things I know how to do, this is the kind of thing that stumps me :P
